Hotel Altus Palace is located in the historic building of the former Leipzig Palace, adjacent to the beautiful Old Town Garden, close to the city's major attractions such as the Old Market Square, Wrocław Opera, Puppet Theater, and Ostrow Tumski.

Painstakingly restored, the historical interiors have been enriched with modern, artistic arrangements, ensuring the highest level of comfort and a unique atmosphere.

History

A palace in the heart of the city

The historic building of the former Leipzig Palace was constructed in 1874 as the family residence of banker Ignatz Leipziger. The architect of the palace was Carl Schmidt, who also designed Liebich Hill (now Partisan Hill) and the City Theater (today's Opera).

In later years, the owner sold the building to the city - before World War II, it served as a bank and municipal institutions, and after 1945, offices were located there.

From the beginning, Leipziger Palace was an exceptionally prestigious place – its decoration included a grand staircase with ornate railings, Carrara marbles, columns, and stucco work. Both the stunning lobby and the beautiful ballroom, as well as the original marbled stuccos, have been meticulously restored and can now be admired by guests of the Altus Palace Hotel.

The property has a limited number of parking spaces. It is not possible to reserve a spot.

Amazing accommodation, exceptional staff. Special recommendations for Julia from the reception, who was so kind and helpful with finding medical help for my kid. She did all her best to assist us.
Apart from the staff, very clean accommodation, modern furniture, with sweet compliments left everyday in our room.
